Notification about NFAA Sat (March 6) Shoot

We have just received some new information about this weekends shoot:

"Due to snow, our Indoor championship scheduled for three sites was broken up with Ogden Outdoors shooting the scheduled weekend February 13,14. Then Prince William shot the next weekend February 20,21 and now Wythe will be this weekend, along with the Mid Atlantic indoor.

There were shooters that did not get to shoot at Prince William because they went to Vegas. Therefore VFAA has made the decision to allow any archer, otherwise qualified to shoot in the VFAA indoor championship and who missed the shoot on the other two weekends, to shoot the VFAA indoor championship along with the mids, the same as is being done in Wytheville.

You do NOT have to have been in Vegas to do this. You just have to have missed the shoot for any reason.

This applies to Prince William and Ogden Outdoors, however it only applies to people who did not shoot already."

Ogden Outdoors will accomodate this, if there is enough space. We are filling up fast, so call early if you want to shoot.

March 27th: Starting in the afternoon, Quaker Boy will be demonstrating all of of their calls in our shop and will be giving away calls to the winners of the shoot. Stop by and meet Jim Burns of Quaker Boy

There will also be free snacks.

We will be having a big turkey competetion. Register to compete at least 24 hours before you bring in your bird. $10. Winner receives gift certificate, bragging rights, and a photo in the shop and on our website.

There will be a 3D Shoot February 20th. All details will be the same as the last shoots.

The VFAA State Indoor Archery Tournament will be February 12,13, & 14. shooting times will be 8 am, 11am, and 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. There will be one shooting time on Friday. That time will be announced at a later date, based on shooter feedback. More info is available at www.vfaa.org

The NFAA Mid-Atlantic Indoor Archery Tournament will be March 5th, 6th, & 7th. Shooting times will be 8 am, 11am, and 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. There will be one shooting time on Friday.
