It
was my pleasure to play host to Johnny and the Rebels in Jan
2010. They pulled in the crowds and rolled back the years.
The atmosphere was amazing and it was great to bring together
such a group of people ranging from 18-100 who could all enjoy
their tunes. Excellent Band!

I
organise annual 'Back To The Sixties' festivals in the Southampton
England area as I used to sing with several pop groups throughout
the Sixties and early Seventies. The Concorde Club is one
of the longest established venues in the UK and hosts many
top names in all fields of the music industry, so quite a
prestige venue for any artiste.
In January 2010, we were lucky enough to headline with the
visiting 'Johnny and the Rebels' who were on a short UK tour
and they just blew the audience away! They have a massive
repertoire, thanks to each of the musicians having a wealth
of experience in the business, but they adapted their set
list to suit the 'Sixties' theme of our special shows.
These shows normally feature English bands and singers so
the audience were thrilled to have these terrific guys over
from the USA and the vocals, musicianship and stage presence
really impressed us Brits! On this show, they were joined
by Noel Tresider who travelled all the way from his home in
Australia to sit in with his old buddies on keyboards. Noel
is a highly respected musician Down Under and one of his crowning
achievements was being part of the support band for the Beatles
1964 Tour of Australia.
I would recommend Johnny and the Rebels to any venue, large
or small as they will certainly get any audience going and
keep them rocking and rolling all night!

Wow,
these guys REALLY ROCK. Their experience shines through with
their wide repertoire and very tight sound. Do not miss out
on a fantastic nostalgic tour of the best of 60's music. From
The Rolling Stones to The Troggs they cover the best of the
most exciting decade in music. Very highly recommended.
