I recently moved my camper down the New River next door to the best fisherman I know who is known to many as Crawdaddy Dave! When it comes to fishing on the New River, this dude is THE MAN! Yesterday, I spent all day fishing along the banks of the river and didn't even get one bite and had come to the conclusion that our fishing days were over for the year and was a bit downhearted about it all.

Dave showed up with his boat about an hour before sunset at coaxed me and my girlfriend, Ora to go fishing with him and we did. Although I complained that there were no more fish in the river and these top water lures Dave told me to use were inaffective, I cast my line wherever Dave told me to. And lo and behold, I caught a fish ...

Then shorlty afterwards, Dave caught a big fish and let me hold it!

Man, what a guy! That Crawdaddy Dave is the best!
